Candace (Kavalya) Poirier

Kavalya has always had a passion for movement. Her childhood was dedicated to classical ballet and dance, which eventually led her into the fitness world. In 2001, she began practicing meditation and yoga, and quickly realized this helped her to relieve anxiety and to stay grounded. In 2011, she became a YogaWorks trained yoga teacher and has gone on to complete 200 hour trainings with LYT Method Yoga & MyoFascial Yoga. Kavalya loves functional fitness and teaches from a place where sports medicine and yoga overlap. In 2020, Kavalya deepened her training with 220 hours in Kundalini Yoga and became a Songaia Sound Healing Therapist. Through Kundalini Yoga, she was given the spiritual name Kavalya Ardas Kaur. Kavalya’s intention is to support people in feeling embodied, to move well and to know themselves better.
